Dear Reesa,

I would like to take you to dinner in Zürich this weekend. Friday or Saturday — your call.

The restaurant is called Josef. Josef does not take itself too seriously. This is why Josef and I get along.

The food is excellent. The neighbourhood will try to keep us out late. I am, for the record, not opposed to this.

I am fully aware that inviting someone to dinner via a document that looks like a sheet of paper is a slightly strange thing to do. I contain multitudes. Some of them are even charming.

Zürich is forty minutes from Olten.

I checked.

I may have checked before I had a reason to.

Saturday? (Or Friday. I'm flexible.)

Yours,

Matthew

P.S.  Josef has a dish I need you to try. I won't tell you what it is. This is a hostage situation and the ransom is yes.

No dress code at Josef. You'll look wonderful regardless.
